Hetreed Ross Architects response to Coronavirus
Since the unprecedented and concerning outbreak of Coronavirus, Hetreed Ross Architects have been working to ensure that any disruption to our projects and practice is minimised and we maintain the same high quality of service to our clients that we pride ourselves in.
We take the safety of our staff, clients and all those whom we work with seriously and will follow government recommendations for self-isolation. We already employ video conferencing and screen sharing with our overseas clients so will be implementing this on our projects closer to home to minimise contact.
We have been spending the last week ensuring our working from home software and connection to our servers will enable us to continue working smoothly away from the office. We have internal communication methods set up to ensure the same cross fertilisation of ideas, sharing of information and QA discussions are maintained.
Projects on site may see some disruption as contractors will be less able to work remotely. In our role as Contract Administrator we are taking the latest legal advice on the contractual position and will act fairly and impartially as always.
We continue to take new work enquiries. With the aid of video calling, online aerial photography and downloadable mapping, we can undertake client briefings and site analysis remotely. Indeed as it seems probable more of us are requested to spend time at home, this may be an opportunity to review your current buildings and embark on a project. Construction projects can take a significant amount of time from conception to starting on site so it is never too early to take the initial steps. Hetreed Ross will be happy to take your call and emails.
