Ellie Risius

Ellie joined Hetreed Ross Architects in 2009. She was architect for the LABC national Award winning Fairfield Farm College Phase 1 and Phase 2 developments which created thriving community spaces, specialist learning environments and agricultural facilities for the specialist college. Other key projects with the practice include Plockton House, a large contemporary and sustainable new home cut into the hillside in central Bath, and Boreham Mead, a 35 house custom build development with HAB Housing which combined urban and rural design.

Ellie has a rigorous approach to design and project management ensuring all issues are considered. She enjoys nurturing good relationships with the clients, consultants and contractors she works with, believing good communication is key to realising and exceeding the client’s expectations.

She studied at the University of Bath achieving her Masters in 2009. During her studies she had worked in practices in Hampshire, Bath and London gaining experience in large scale residential, education and commercial projects. In 2011 Ellie qualified as an Architect from Birmingham City University and since then has been working as a Project Architect at Hetreed Ross.
