We are working with clients to obtain planning permission for a contemporary house in the garden of their suburban bungalow in the Bath outskirts. Having previously had unsuccessful pre planning negotiations the clients appointed us to overcome objections initially raised by the planning officer regarding site location and design. Our contemporary solution of a split level house constructed from a pallet of natural materials around a south facing courtyard on this tight site has been supported by the planning officer at pre application stage.
